Forgot Your Password?
September 07, 2010 10:24 PM #
If you forgot your password, you can now reset it using the "Ooops, I forgot my password" recovery feature.
You will be asked to password recovery question that you answered when you first registered. If you answer it correctly, then you will get an email with your new password.
When I build the "update your profile" function, you will be able to change it to what you want. For now, it's fixed.
Having Trouble Logging In?
September 07, 2010 10:52 AM #
Here are a couple things to check...
- The user name to use is the "Email Address" you signed up with - Not the "Handle" you will be known as.
- When you registered, the system sent you an email with a link to "Confirm" the registration. Click on that link in the email (or paste it into the browser's location bar. You cannot login without confirming the account first.
- If you didn't get the email, check your spam folder. It's not unusual for the email to get intercepted by the filtering software you have.
If you still are having problems, send me a note to "mojomark at gmail dot com" (formatting it correctly of course) and I'll do my best to get you straightened out.
Pick Form is Ready - Please Test
August 29, 2010 12:03 AM #
Just wanted to let everybody know that the form to submit your picks is ready. I'd like everyone to give it a test as soon as possible and let me know if something doesn't work right or doesn't make sense. I've got a couple of known issues I'm working on, but the bulk of the form works.
If you see something, please post a message in the Smack Exchange and I'll look into it.
I've built into the form three "clear" buttons so that you can erase all your picks and try it again.
I've tested the form using current versions of Firefox and Internet Explorer v8.0. If you are having problems, it would be great if you could tell me the browser you are using, the version # and the type of computer operating system you are on so I can troubleshoot.

August 19, 2010 10:56 PM #
With the season right around the corner, it's time for you to get off the sidelines and on to the field.
And, this year, RotoMojo (brought to you by MojoMark) gives you an opportunity to enhance your enjoyment of watching the games and at the same time use the football season for investment purposes!
You'll need a RotoMojo.Com ID to join the game, so get one now and take the field. If you've played in the past, you'll need to re-register here on the new site.
Pro Pick'em Bonus
The Pro-Pick'em Bonus Game allows the player to pick 12 NFL games each week. Each game is ranked from 12 points to 1. IF the team you pick wins the game (no point spread required), you get the number of points specified. In addition, you can specify one of those games to be a "bonus" game. If that team wins, you get double the points.
Sounds simple eh?...
Here's the catch : if the team loses or ties, you get a negative point score equal to how you assigned the points. No big deal you say? Catch #2 - you can only bonus a team that is playing against a team with a .500 or better record. No picking against the 49ers each week !
Go 12 for 12 and get a 10 point bonus for a nice even 100 point week.
The first tie breaker is the number of games picked correctly. 10 for 12 with 85 points beats 9 for 12 with 85 points.
The last tie-breaker is related to the games you are not assigning points to (usually 4 or 5 games). The one who picks the most games correctly wins the second tie-breaker. If you choose to not pick those games you'll get a zero and lose the tie-breaker to someone who did.
Entry fee for this year is $75 for the entire season.
